Stairs and high heels are not my friends for many reasons, so I don't fall into this category. If someone has somehow bribed me into wearing a feather scarf, I'd like to make certain there are no lights following me! :P

I feel your pain. Stair steps move to the side when they see me approach, I swear. And if I ever wore a feather boa you can rest assured that the lights following me will probably catch it on fire at some point...

I was a misunderstooded child you know... At 1991 I was 10 years old, and I used to listen to Pink Floyd and The Police, and first time I heard Joyride was at my english class, our teacher brought it for us to sing and practice. It was a succes for short time, my teacher understood it was better to bring Pink Floyd and Monty Pyton´s movies :perfekt:

@lush: you post yours in bunny costume and I put mines dressed as tinkerbell :D

Yeah, stairs were a fantasy, and I also saw me breaking my neck in it. Stairs and high hills, kids, donot do this at home!

What would the icon look like though? Arms reaching out? That might make me cower in fear. Could look menacing instead of reassuring, ha ha! But that's my weird black sense of humor kicking in.

Just as it did when you said again "I'm a hugger", and you *know* the mental image that ensued! :D

And now my mind is tumbling through the possibilities for icons that aren't there, heh heh...

I can understand on some levels. I think 1991 was my first year of emotional rest after having offiicially left the Catholic church in 1989. Well, with a Polish Pope in the Vatican and living with the Roman Catholic members of my Polish family, I was instantly the super outcast with all my family living here. Imagine that 1989-1990 I became so reclusive that I became absorbed in music. Music was my sanctuary and still is to this day. :)

I believe the expression runnning through my head is "when hell freezes over" but I don't believe in hell, so I'm confusing myself. In either case, it's not going to happen, not even if Covenant came to play in my garden. :P

Depeche Mode, though ... only if Martin wears his little black wings!

Yahoo had a scary one a few years ago. I would make it two tiny smilies cuddling. Although I totally protest to having one pink and one blue, which I've seen before.

Yes, I remember! Just as I read that, the lyrics rang through my headphones "you drive me crazy when you do the robot. I like the way you move." Priceless.

I wonder about some of the ones on Trillian as well. The "lol" comes to mind. Looks positively maniacal.

Zitat

Yeah, that is offensive.:nein:

I admit though, I really like the image of a "hugs" icon that has outstretched arms and crazy, sanpaku, Rasputin-y eyes... hee!

Ah yeah I'm easily amused...

ABBA?!?? ABBA's music makes you shudder? I loved them when I was a kid I still like them a lot now! I can trace my love of electronic noises to some of their music I was exposed to as a wee little Holley.

I actually was going to pop in with an indignant OMGWTFyoualldon'tknowthenamesofABBAmembers! and a subsequent wounded exclamation of "Benny! You forgot Benny!", but you all are way past that I see...

(I sound like I'm personally offended here but I'm not really, I promise, heh...)

Ehm, yes. Especially “Waterloo” and this “Money, Money”-song and “Happy New Year”. I swear I get goose bumps when forced to listen.

I see I have lost any sympathies at this forum for not knowing the name of one ABBA member by heart anyway. ;(
Maybe I should leave and hide somewhere until people have forgotten about me?
Change my nickname?
Get myself another personality and live in disguise for the rest of my days?

OK, I will give you "Money Money Money"- it *is* irritating. But "Waterloo"? Love it! Though it's certainly no "On and On and On"...

No one is perfect. You may get ill at the sound of some ABBA but all that means is that we can't plan a group trip together to the museum opening. ;)

After all, remember I'm not a Bauhaus fan? Oh yes! But what is a friend without one wild music flaw to forgive? At least I adored Love and Rockets. :-]

:!: I think that ABBA is mind boggling garbage. I cant tolerate them for very long. But, I have always been the black sheep. So, it seems to be that way again.

All of you must think that I am quite pathetic. How did this marriage thing start anyway? I am 32, and I do like older men. But, not in their sixties. Indeed, I do have a thing for European men. :-] :sch:
