the out of sync hihat should perhaps show the hectic life in barcelona? :D
it would be cool to have a synced version of this track.
perhaps added on the next single as a clubversion? :-]

lol
Maybe Covenant should release a CD (for example called 'Covenant Remixed')
with a couple of mixes of the new tracks and some old ones.
That would be cool! 8)

Remix-CDs normally are disappointing or boring and quite often
both at the same time.

I often like the Remixes of the Covenant Songs more than the album versions.
(examples: Theremin, Call The Ships To Port, ...)

As far as Covenant is concerned, the remixes don´t sound any better in my ears.
I think that´s because the lyrics and the music in the original version go better
together - if the tracks were only instrumental, the remixes could be better.
But if the song/track is remixed, the lyrics fall apart - in a way...because the
instrumental structre is completely different.

Please release on vinyl

I'd love this released on vinyl - so we can really appreciate the sub-bass....

Absolutely! :-]
I cannot wait to see the needle of our LP12 jump because the bass hits so hard...

Anyone else here who would LOVE to have skyshaper as double vinyl collector's edition?

i didn't really understand this discussion because i don't know a thing about the technical side of music... '20Hz' sounds allright for me...

but if it's about this haunting "ride"-sound of the songs, i have to disagree... it's one of the things that make '20hz' so different and strong... imho off course
i'm just an advertisement for a version of myself

Thanks, well, for me the erie hi hat added something to the song so I let it stay. Joakim who did the loops wanted to remove it but I guess I was just more stubborn. Besides, a good drums sound is not easy to come up with and we didn't like any of the alternatives better. But I will make a remix of 20 Hz one day. Does anyone have an opinion about the PGR3 version? Also I have an idea to relase pulse as a single. We'll see! Today I am going to make a remix/extended version of an Skyshaper track for an Orcus compilation called "extended electronics" but I haven't deced yet which song. Why not a techno version of The world is growing loud? I like challanges, contradicting signals and complex layers - and a good old bass drum!

Yours, Eskil

Is that the one featured in the game? Haven't heard it yet.

Which would be a nice choice if you want to release a 3rd single off Skyshaper (guess the label has a word on this too ;) )
I think Pulse is perfect for very nice remixes from recent dance acts. Just imagine Felix Da Housecat, Miss Kittin or any Gigolo Records act laying their hands on this track. :)

Sounds like a nice idea! It's a great song anyway, giving it a different perspective and approach would be interesting.

If it´s a techno version of TWIGL or not... it would be nice to get something completely different than like the songs are on the album. Would be very cool to hear what else you could make out of one of your songs.

Try a vocal-version of 'subterfuge... '. THAT would be different! :D
