goth/industrial/EBM/Punk scenes

Okay.. I live in Northern California in the US and I am curious as to whether or not this is a local thing or more widespread... i notice that the people who go to the goth/industrial/EBM clubs and shows also go to alot of the punk shows I am at (my boyfriend got me into punk and I got him into Covenant, ApopB, etc.). I find it kind of an interesting crossover and so i was wondering if the scenes mix as much in Europe and around the rest of the US and the world... Some of the punk bands I like come from Europe (Nekromantix - Denmark and The Business - UK) but most are from the US...

Looking forward to reading the replies to this thread... my german is not so good so try to keep it simple if you reply in german (THANX!)

RE: goth/industrial/EBM/Punk scenes

That is a very unusual mixture here in Germany. In my opinion its here nearly impossible to inspire Dark People for Punk Music. In the other way it will be the same. But my personal taste of music is very wide ranging. Beside my favourite Bands like Covenant or Assemblage 23 I prefer alternative Bands like Pearl Jam, TOOL or Filter.
