25-27.07.2008 Gothic Festival Waregem

Sorry my english is poor....but i like to inform....there is going to be an other Gothic Festival in Waregem from 25. till 27.07.2008 (3 days long!!!!).

VNV Nation is going to perform as headliner and there are going to be some more bands....

Though recently I decided that it is not possible to visit Köln and Waregem for Amphi/Gothic Festival next summer, my girlfriend is sick and needs me here.

I'm thinking Amphi/Waregem is about 75 to 80% possible for me. I want to return. I had soooooo much fun last time!

Myself and my boi should also be going and I'm hoping to get to see Marishka as well (I need to text her). We have quite a decent sized UK contingent coming and we are staying here:

VNV are one of those bands you have to see at least once - you will have a fantastic time. They played the other night here in Scotland and were fabby!! It was a great night of tart-juice (cherry alcopops) and very unflattering pictures!!

Do you plan to come to Amphi-festival too - we could have a giant meet and greet - it would be lovely :)

I have 2 options:
1- get a home
2- be homeless half a year more and go to amphi/waregem/etc.

I guess it depends on how many time I can deal with the situation of being a nomad... I´m thinking, I´m thinking, I´m thinking, I´m thinking....

It must be so nice to go to Europe!!! Being a single mom, there is probably no way I could ever go to these festivals. Unless, a miracle occurs. But, I am happy for those who can get there.

.....I was flying once to Seycheles for 198 Euros incl. taxes (12/2004).....but it was luck.Condor hides from year 2006 some taxes and some extra price for cerosin but maybe you have luck too.Take a look here....

@Vor: I´m sending via Fed-Ex tons of Argentinian strength for you and your gf. And the GCA added lots of hugs and energy drinks :)

@d_h: haha! 1/4 of the year saving in not enough to affoard the trip, economical situation here is worse every day. I need at least USD 1500 to buy a ticket to "the cheapest place in europe and then buy a cheap flight to get to germany, and that includes buying the ticket for june and then change the date in the last minute cos season changes in july, and in july the tickets are something like USD 2300"... then add "the cheapest place to sleep", "something cheap to eat", one or two "cheap beers" and of course tickets for the festival.
Euros are REALLY expensive and so does dollars here. I´ll be lucky if I can get the money on time AND affoard to live in the meantime hehehehe :tongue:
Still I have hope, there´s a big chance of getting a job in London if I travel in june, so I could be able to save some Euros, that could be the key :cool:
