There are a few German speakers here so I thought I'd give this a shot.

I need to know how to translate the term "on air" in German ... as in what text would be written on one of those illuminated signs you'd see in a radio station.

A friend of mine told me he thought it would be "Achtung! Aufnahme", but he wasn't sure. Does anybody here know?
