Uh, I think I need to consult ilex and see if this could work out as a travel buddy trip. Definitely enough advance notice to my office, that's for sure.

Besides, the last Haujobb show evar is enough for me to take unpaid vacation for it. :perfekt:

Was pondering attending this next year in early August. Though now all plans to travel next year have been removed from my control, probably will be able to get out and attend something by 2011.

Can someone explain me how is this thing about camping? There is a camping place near the venue? How much does that cost? Any data will be useful... Thanx!

there is a camping, but it is a bit farther away from the location.

last year, there were shuttle buses from the camping to the venue. no detailed info at the website yet, but it will come, i am sure.

With the bus:
With the rapid-transit railway 12 to Cologne Lövenich; from there with the bus 144 up to the Diesel route. With the streetcar 1 to Junkersdorf; from there with the bus 144 up to the Diesel route.

With the car:
Bend from the Aachener road at height shopping centre pastures into the Goethe route; this becomes in the underpass of the station Lövenich the brewing because first race; and after approximately 500m follow the far brewing because first race. bend behind the gas station right into the Cologne road; after approximately 800m. left into the Otto route drive and at the end of the road you reach Soccer World Cologne.

"Brewing because the first race"?!? Dubious translation due to a combination of Babel Fish and myself, and I have NO idea what that sentence means.

Holley Default Directions:

1) Go with a friend who knows the area and happily pile into the underground.
2) Take a cab.

2 Euro of each bought ticket is donated to a kid's charity hospital. Tickets that evening are 8 Euro (if there are any) and advance tickets are 6 Euro.

Doors open at 6pm (18:00), and game starts at 7:30pm (19:30).

In other words, buy advanced tickets as they might sell out.
