Eskil guest on new Front Line Assembly!

Very cool!

Quoted

It has now been confirmed that both Jean-Luc De Meyer (Front 242) and Eskil Simonsson (Covenant) will be providing guest vocals on the forthcoming FLA album.

Now I even more look forward to the new Front Line Assembly album! It will be called "Artificial Soldier" and will be out in June, as far as I know.

By the way, I think Rhys Fulber could be the right producer for forthcoming COVENANT productions. He knows how a Electro-Clubhit has to sounds like and he is able to produce good Pop- or Elektro Musik. Check out his 'Conjure One/Delerium' Stuff and you know what I mean.

Great! These are really good news. One month ago I thought, 'skyshaper' has been the last highlight for this year. But there are new releases by IN STRICT CONFIDENCE, DISMANTLED and now FRONTLINE ASSEMBLY.

Could be a very good year... :perfekt: :perfekt: :perfekt:

Somewhere else it's been stated that this news may also be april's fool joke. Just let's wait and see...

And I second that Rhys Fulber would be an awesome choice as a producer of a Covenant album. But I guess he's quite expensive these days..

From the Conjure One (Rhys Fulber's solo project) website:

"Rhys is busy with a bunch of production work right now, producing new albums for Delerium, Foliage (a new project voiced by Leigh Nash), and Polish alt-metal band Delight. Also recently remixed Rock Kills Kid and Stromkern, produced one song for Canadian singer Amanda Stott and contributed some tracks to the new Front Line Assembly album. There is still more stuff lined up too, like Mortiis and Covenant...Amidst all this will be more Conjure One shows being lined up for late spring."

Also, in his forum Rhys states that production work for Mortiis is in the works, perhaps that means the same for Covenant as well?

Obviously no April's fool joke. :)

I'm looking forward to the result. And I have a feeling that Fulber might do a remix for our boys!?

I really hope so - that would be very interesting to hear - what track do you think he should remix?

Ah, yeah, I read somewhere else that people want a remix of this track. ;)

But wasn't there are rumour that some popular Electro act would do a remix for the new single Brave New World? Maybe that's the solution - a Rhys Fulber/FLA remix of Brave New World!?

hmmm still think I would prefer him to unleash his prodigious talents on 20Hz!!

Here are some news:

Quoted

The boys are back in town! Bill Leeb, Rhys Fulber, and Chris Peterson have
joined ranks once again to create the best Front Line Assembly release that
the electronic industrial community has seen in over a decade. The trio, with
new member Jeremy Inkel, began work on Artificial Soldier in early 2005, and
it was time well spent. The newly re-formed line-up managed to create a
release that no only lives up to the expectations of Front Line Assembly fans, but
surpasses them. Heavy pounding beats, atmospheric strings, percolating
melodies, dynamic synths and Bill Leeb’s trademark vocals couldn’t be fused
together any tighter if you tried to do it at an atomic level. As if all of those
factors weren’t enough, two guest vocalists appear on Artificial Soldier –
Eskil Simonsson from Covenant (on “The Storm”) and Jean-Luc De Meyer from
Front 242 (on “Future Fail”)! Artificial Soldier is one album not to be missed
for 2006 or any year for that matter.
