A Place to Bury Strangers - Exploding Head

Not an electronic band at all, but, pretty loud and interesting. Manage to use walls of noise in very unique ways, and despite the small similarities, don't come off as another band trying to be the next incarnation of Joy Division. Refreshing.

They sound wonderful! I've heard so much about APTBS via brainwashed dot com, but I never took the moment to listen to them.

They have a sonic edge that just isn't there with other bands that go for that same vibe/atmosphere. Instead of coming off as dull, trite, and lifeless (-like Interpol or She Wants Revenge), they are alive and extremely fucking cool.

This band is really starting to grow on me.

There is a bit of similarity with some of those classic bands they've been compared to, but they are also really good at it. I agree, its refreshing. :)

I'm tempted to get some of the guitar pedals the vocalist makes when not busy with the band. The walls of noise they create can easily tear paint off of buildings.
