@Black_Cat

You've seen em in Spain?! This sounds awesome. Me and the gf were actually looking at a trip to Spain this fall. Looks like we may need to postpone til the Spring.

Any helpful tips you might share from your travels?

Thanks!

I've already bought a plane ticket to Barcelona. My gf has already seen them in Spain, but we were angry that This Morn Omina cancelled their show in Poland, and decided to go.

RE: Covenant live in Spain 2009

Hm... according to last.fm the place in Madrid is different:

Sala Heineken
Princesa 1
28008 Madrid
Spain

Actually it was Sala Caracol at the beginning, but they changed it.
According to MySpace, however, the show will be in Sala Caracol.

I prefer to believe to Covenant official profile in MySpace, but I'm wondering why the guy in last.fm changed the place...

I see, but I am still confused - I just don't understand, why somebody have to change the place of some event, if that is not true... just for fun :(... hope not!

... and ilex011, I am with the same username almost everywhere.... so, in last.fm I am nenepyga too - hope to meet you there soon ;)

Well, last minute venue changes on the part of the promoters isn't unusual. Then you have people just going by word of mouth, then you have multiple entries on the same event- argh!

Really?! X(

Anyway, probably when I got my ticket for the show the place will be much more clear for me ;)

And about the ticket - people from Spain, please help me with some link or info about the local promoter, because I have to buy a tickets sooner or latter :D and this obviously is not that easy, when you live in Bulgaria :(

... and ilex011... Dead Can Dance?! - I am charmed :P

Flights and accomodations are booked.

Folks, who will travel to Spain too in order to see Covenant?

Beside of this, does anybody know something about an aftershow party (perhaps demonix club???)

he either knew much earlier than the webmistress of Covenant's Myspace, or someone posted unconfirmed stuff at last.fm - most possibly a combination of both. It's Sala Heineken.

;)

Well, I was only in Madrid and the show was the best thing in this city :-]. Sala Heineken is really cool place and I was really happy, that I was on the front row... I didn't like the DJ support before XMH, but the guy obviously had some local fans, but on the front row, that still was a problem, because I had to listen the "music" for more then 40 minutes

Covenant of course was great - the show began with Come, which is really nice song... personally for me, Stalker was huge surprise for me .... actually Stalker sounded so different this time, but it was quite interesting and I lost my voice somewhere in the club, because of that song

Eskil was very good on the drums and Joakim had one really naughty microphone  It was such a fun :D

I am also interested in pics, maybe there is a gallery to link to from covenant.de?

@Daniel: Could you please post the setlists for our "On Stage History" Section?

this should be the madrid set:

modern ruin intro
come
20 Hz
bullet (club)
figurehead
no mans land
wall of sound
if I would give my soul
I am
the men
we stand alone
ritual noise

improvisation

happy man
call the ships to port
--
haujobb - world window
stalker (club test)
dead stars

and this is Barcelona:

modern ruin intro
come
20 Hz
bullet (club)
figurehead
no mans land
wall of sound
if I would give my soul
flux
the men
we stand alone
ritual noise

improvisation

happy man
call the ships to port
--
haujobb - world window
stalker (club test)
dead stars
--
one world one sky

but I am not 100% sure, since eskil changed the setlist in the middle of the set and I didnt save the cubase file. I am sorry. but I am 95% sure, that this is what we played.
