don't waste your life, time, money, etc....

This thread is a way of warning our fellow covenant fans about things that will suck... shows, movies, cd's, whatever... how many times have you left a show or a movie and not only wanted a refund of your money, but also of the two hours of your life you just wasted??? How about that cd that you bought and found out that the only good song was the one you heard at the club??? Well, this is the place to warn everyone else so that if they choose to go spend their money at least they were warned!!!

The first thing that popped into my head on this subject was the wolfshiem show i saw last year... i love alot of the music on their cd's, but live they have absolutely no connection with the crowd and very little energy at all... this was my birthday show too... I WANTED to have a good time... i TRIED to have a good time... I ended up almost falling asleep...

okay everyone... your turn!

I recognize the feeling Niki, when you have looked forward to something for some time and then end up feeling as if you´ve fallen for an aprils fools day joke.
This actually happened to me during DM`s Exciter tour, the music was great and so on but the people around me, the crowd, with their bitching and moaning totally ruined it. If i hadn´t been such a nice person i swear í would have killed them all, whats wrong with people?? Eventually i couldn´t keep my mouth shut and basicly said to the whiners to go home and stop whining and ruining my time, but by then i was so angry it was more or less ruined anyway.
I usually dont care at all about such people and refuse to be let down, but this night was very special i guess.

Theres been a few more occations when the music and the band/artist has been the let down, but i tend to leave such things behind.

Oooh, Wolfsheim were great live! :-]

But a really horrible thing was last Friday: Joke Jay (Ex-And One) live. Music was shit, lyrics were shit, performance was shit, girl on stage was shit... Shortly said: absolutely everything was horrible bullshit.

You are not alone... I have been hearing this froom several people... I like it... Homeward just gets me right in the gut... as does Entropy... but I agree it does not seem to have the same power as say Praise the Fallen or Empires.... but then again I was not as impressed with Future Perfect... my boyfriend LOVES Beloved and well.... Give me Saviour (vox) any day!!!

okay... do not bother with seeing "The Ring 2" in theatres... rent it with a free movie coupon or something!!!! That little boy is just creepy, and not in a scary horror movie kind of way... you get the feeling he's ALWAYS a little creepy...

I actually liked the New VNV Nation but I wish they didn't count the

intro as a track and I wish they would just have made Strata and

Interceptor as one track and added some more tracks. My favorite

track is Chrome and Homeward. Chrome was especially meaningful

for me because it sums up how I currently feel about the world. I'm

gonna see VNV Nation live May 18th at the Anaheim House of Blues

with Imperative Reaction and Soman, already got the tickets. I hope I

won't be back in here giving a bad review of it afterwards. lol.
This Prison We Call Time is Spherical and Without Exits. What will happen to me, has already happened to me. And so I am here unafraid, becoming conscious to this moment that existed even before the one before it.

I will be seeing them two times a couple of days later (May 21 & 22 in S.F.) and I doubt you will have any reason to give a bad review... their shows are incredible!!!

I saw VNV twice on the Formation Tour, and they were just great, as always. :-]
