I love the books of Nicolas Sparks. They are full of great feelings.
My favourite book of Nicolas Sparks is "A walk to remember". A lovestory full of longing, fears and letting go...
oh my god... did you see the movie of that book? i watch it on HBO all the time.... it is a wonderful movie!!!
I haven't seen it yet and I ask myself if I should do,. Because when you read something it's your mind's turn to get it into frames. Maybe movies destroy your own imagination.
I experienced that when I read "Message in a bottle" and saw the movie ta TV then.

I personally like "The Stand (German: Das letzte Gefecht)" by Stephen King. As an atheist I'm sceptical about the religious aspects of the story, but I love the atmosphere. It's not a very profound or intellegent book, but I found it pretty interesting.
