OpenOffice.org

Hallo

Hello

What do you think about the free Office-Suite (OpenOffice) ?
Do you possibly use it your self ?

I use OpenOffice since the version 1.0.1 and i like this Suite.
I especially like the new version 2.0.1.

B. beim Thema WLan.

I'm using OpenOffice 2 and I like it much better then M$. It takes a while to get used to though, since not everything is where it is in the M$ version. But on the whole it's a much better experience. I recommend it!

On my PC at home I am only using OpenOffice 2 since some months (Win XP) and I'm very pleased :)
Especially the integrated PDF export comes in handy for me.

I could not judge the quality of advanced spread sheet features, but for every day use at home I don't miss anything.

I was happily surprised to learn that this version also supports some database operations.
So I could access my old record collection DB (MS Access). Well, the DB part of the suite doesn't seem to be that stable yet, but at least I could migrate my records to CatTraxx without the need to have Access installed.
