hmm......kann ich so gar nicht sagen.........

für mich hat jedes album für sich was ganz besonderes......
und superschön finde ich, wie sich eskil`s stimme auf der northern light hervorhebt und man mal richtig hört, was für eine wahnsinnig schöne stimme er hat!!!!
da hat er wirklich dran gearbeitet und sich enorm "verbessert", finde ich.........
mein ganz persönliches highlight!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wenn sich die Club-Versionen von Stalker, Figurehead und Feedback auf dem regulären Sequencer Album befinden würden, wäre wahrscheinlich dieses das stärkste Album. Ansonsten kann ich keine Rangliste erstellen, da diese immer von der momentanen Stimmung abhängen würde. Genau das gehört zu den Stärken von Covenant, jedes Album hat seine eigene Atmosphäre.

uneingeschränkte Zustimmung. Als ich Bullet das erste mal auf der Snippe CD von Joakim vorgespielt bekam (war beim Eurorock letztes Jahr), wusste ich gleich, daß das ne Single werden MUSS!

Hi, hab mich jetzt hier auch mal angermeldet. Hoffentlich geht hier mehr als in dem anderen Forum von Covenant.

Also Lieblingalbum.....mhhhh. Schwere frage. Die Northern Lights ist wahrlich ein Meisterstück geworden, aber ich glaube die Sequencer ist noch ein bisl besser.

Ja ja die "ewig Gestrigen"

Hat man ja leider gerade in unserer "Szene" verstärkt. Früher war alles besser, innovativer etc... Ich kanns weiß Gott nicht mehr hören! Ich bin auch riesiger Fan alter Sachen (X marks the Pedwalk, 242, FLA, Mentallo...), dennoch sollte man die Augen nicht davor verschließen, das auch "neue" Bands gute Sachen machen. Und dafür sind gerade Covenant ein _sehr_ gutes Beispiel. Mir fällt keine Band aus diesem Bereich ein, die eine vergleichbare musikalische Entwicklung durch hat. Man nehme nur mal "Shelter" und z.B. "Bullet" - Beide Stücke sind auf ihre Art genial, aber dazwischen liegen musikalische Welten! Und das ist auch gut so, denn es liegen ja auch immerhin ca. 10 Jahre dazwischen. Wie langweilig, wenn eines wie das andere klingen würde... :]

Und genau aus diesem Grund kann ich die Frage nach dem Lieblingsalbum auch gar nicht beantworten. Die CDs sind zu unterschiedlich als dass ich sie miteinander vergleichen könnte.
