hey,

thanks for sharing. The pictures are very good! What is the pin on Joakim's lapels? is it a "radioactive" sign?

& to the Russians: great photos. The one you put in the first post of Joakim is especially nice.

Looking through the Russian photo set, I just realized that Myer is wearing a tie... I love that. :D

Oh, thanks! What a stylish club... I'm afraid I was looking more at this stage decoration than at the band. ;)

It's a simple hommage to the song that changed my mind forever. I was 8 years old when I first heard it. I still think it's the epitomy of electronic melancholy, retro-futurism and to this day it gives me goose-bumps. It completely caught me in 1978 and it made me want to discover the hidden world of the machinery that could produce such an otherworldly sound. I still think it's the best electronic song ever made.

To me it sounds like an echo from the future, traveling over the icy Lake Baikal, across the taiga of Siberia, over the hills of the Ural, retransmitted by the radio towers of East Germany to the rusting Eiffel Tower, bouncing by Düsseldorf and then faintly vibratring inside my soul; making me feel awake and sedated at the same time.

Naughty bootleg version from last year's world tour, not as good as the original but visually unparallelled ;)

No, but the "G" key at the 2nd octave is bent. One of those accidents that seem to happen on the road. I don't know if I beat it up too much or if it got caught in something while loading/unloading. It still works though. :)

Gah. Why couldn't that stuff have ever been popular over here? Well, I wouldn't have heard this song back in 1978 (considering I wasn't even born until 1985) but still. It kind of makes me sad that when I got into this kind of music a couple of years ago, half of these bands aren't even around anymore. :( Ok, I'll stop whining.

I could say the same thing about your music. It does very funny things to my Muse, and as a science fiction writer, that's not bad at all. ;)
