I'm not sure but I would advise you to check if German/European online retailers have an English version and ship to the US as well...voila! :)

I was just planning on waiting for a US retailer to import it.

There is a seller on Musicstack.com which can special order it for $50 plus shipping (and tax if you are in NY). Just go to musicstack.com and artist search for Covenant in DVD or do a title seach for In Transit... you will see that they list it as a special order and 3 disc version, it's the only one.

However, IIRC, both sponsors of this forum have English interfaces and the shipping from Germany isn't that bad.. for up to 50 euro merchandise. At indiedetective it's 23 euro plus 8 euro shipping, that's ~$44 USD. And they do "sponsor" the forum.. ;) make sure you use the links at the bottom of the page to click through.

Not sure about Infrarot, it seems to be down right now.

Btw, LadyKomachi, is that you there in the audience during Der Leiermann?

No idea honey ?( My copy STILL hasn't arrived.
If it's a small female, hair extensions, make up running down face, obvious signs of sleep deprivation, it could well be *sigh*

I am now considering hunger strike - problem is I have a bag of Lebkuchen in the house and no will power.

Is the DVD absolutely wonderful?????? *sob sniffle*

You could try Music Non Stop in the UK. They are very nice (except I haven't got my copy yet - grrrr).
I'm sure if you called them they could calculate shipping and they can take PayPal :o)

Good luck

Oh, I just saw someone that the camera focused on in a white PVC nurse outfit with a black squared cross in the centre. Was recorded in Köln, not sure if you attended.

Nevermind me!

Hey nikki! Great idea, I forgot about them. You can order right from the site. The shipping is INSANELY cheap ($2.15?).. they have in international interface also, so no need to call. It's about $37 USD.

Actually you were right
But I think there is footage from Berlin and Hamburg in there cos I never made the show in Koln.

It was a wonderful and memorable show - I still have the rose I caught

My copy finally arrived :-]

What a great DVD - and no I'm not just saying that cos I'm writing in this forum. I don't tend to bother with a lot of live DVDs because I prefer the atmosphere of a live show but that was FANTASTIC. Not too sure about the bull's bits and ice bathing though

The quality of the sound is phenomenal and it was so good seeing familiar faces. The picture quality superb, the atmosphere and the excitement had me bouncing up and down on the sofa all evening.

It made me sad to hear about Clas but I would much rather that they are all happy in their enterprises.

I can't think of any favourite parts but I loved the footage from Lima

I had been considering hanging up my touring boots after Spain but now I'm just not sure. I'll see how Madrid and Barcelona go before making any decisions.

The Cov bois help make the world such a wonderful place.

Many power electronics projects can learn a thing or two from the vocal performances on the live version of Babel from the third disc. Very cathartic!

There's definitely also footage from the Berlin and Hamburg shows, I recognize details from the respective venues and, for Hamburg, a few people which definitely only went to the Hamburg show. So the video blends footage from all three shows throughout the recording. I'm not sure, but I think the audio is completely recorded in Cologne.

If I was mean I'd say that when you see a huge audience full of people just standing around as if they were waiting for the next carnival procession, then it's the Cologne audience - and when you see people jumping around and having a good time then it's either the Berlin or Hamburg crowd. :D ;)

There are even some shots from the show in Glauchau. I remember than venue. But most of the stuff indeed is from the Cologne show.

Pretty nice in fact to see several familiar faces in the crowd :)

got to see the dvd at the wkend with ladykomachi (yes, there was quite a few "yays" every time i saw her on it lol) and i think it's an excellent dvd!!had to laugh at Joakim saying "Edinburgh" in a very good imitation accent...i take it Edinburgh left a good impression...that was a very good night, and there was an incident outside the aftershow where a slightly drunken Joakim was chewing on ladykomachi's boot at one point lol
congrats on a damn fine dvd guys!!

I don't know - they seemed to have a good time but I wasn't there so I can't say for certain.
Berlin and Hamburg were GREAT - I do not understand it when people just stand around at shows tho - I still managed to shake my tail feathers at Hamburg despite having just broken my toe and for Rotersand and VNV at Summer Darkness despite sparining my knee and ankle the previous night post Covenant!!!!!!!! Were you at the Koln show yourself? I would have loved to have gone but I guess that would be greedy

It took a second viewing for me to be sure - but I thought I recognised Glauchau in there. I think I recognise Leipzig as well but I could be wrong.

*sigh* - it seems so long ago now!!!

Yeah, I was at the Köln show, and at the Hamburg show too!

Actually it was so packed in Köln that you could hardly move at all. So I was teasing a bit. On the other hand the Köln audiences do have a reputation of being not overly enthusiastic.

Mwahaha! My North American copy finally came! Yes, this is vitally important information that you all must know. Now everyone can read my crazy inputs! (Later, though, when my sister comes home from work. She's been waiting for this as long as I have and she would never forgive me if I watched it without her.)

Me neither!! Unless I'm just having a weird night overall I can't resist bouncing around and dancing- the vibe is infectious and I *love* that. Just momentarily losing yourself and becoming one with the music (god that sounds cheesy but you know what I mean) and with the people around you who feel the same way. It's elating, that interconnectedness.

I think, anyway. :)

it is indeed not as enthusiastic as in otehr cities... as you remember the cocnert last Sat, it took us quite a while to get some people motivated ;)
Anyway, Cologne was a great show... where I was standing in front with my cam (well, that limitates me a bit in dacning and jumping), people were mocing and clapping a lot ;)
