Yay! This is exciting news.

I'm booking the time off work as we speak (which is gonna be pretty hard even 6 months in advance).

I agree, Montreal is a great city. Can't wait to go.

If anyone is going from within US or Canada, Air Canada has a pretty good seat sale on right now. It's only good for a couple of days though. Westjet too, but they don't fly to as many cities.

If anyone is going from within US or Canada, Air Canada has a pretty good seat sale on right now. It's only good for a couple of days though. Westjet too, but they don't fly to as many cities.
Last year I managed to escape / charm my way out of the Continental terminal and switch to Air Canada after 12 hours of flight delays. Overall I think are quite good, exceptionally professional in comparison to their American counterparts.

I have some friends who were debating whether to get an apartment in Montreal and stay there for both Kinetik and Mutek festivals, though, unless they follow through with that, I will be unable to attend. Still a poor student in university until 2011.
