I guess many fans (like me) would be interested of the story how Covenant started her career (first live gigs etc.) and the dvd could be offer some first amateur-videos or something then... ;)

Hy!

I am not really fond of the idea of many of you to make a kind of question-answering-DVD. If you google the net, you can find many covenant-interviews which can answer most of the questions. I've read parts of them.
I think it would be much better to flim a concert of the tour and in the second half of the DVD make a behind-the-scenes tour documentary.

And please, no songs of that silly support acts ;)

so far, lightman

I don't think that is what people are suggesting. On most DVDs there is are some small interview segments (and a rather large one on the VNV DVD :))... I think Covenant were just asking what questions should be answered for these segments.

I'm pretty sure the main focus will still be the live show and documentary aspects.

Exactly! I think that's it.
Covenant were filmed on the past Tour in a few cities and that's what the DVD is about.
Maybe they go on filming at the next part of the tour.

But if you (Lightman) read the first post again, you'll see, that Eskil was asking for a kind of these questions. ;)

Good night, Lightman

I'm very sure, that you'll be able to buy it in amazon or other shops. ;)
But it will take a longer time until the DVD will be released.
Iif I understood Eskil right, he said something about 2007...

Since you usually play such large venues and shows in Europe... show a couple of the small venue, club shows you play in America!!! Especially San Francisco - so i can be there!!

Oh yessssssss!

I do love "Synergy", as well!
Live versions of the songs are often better than the studio versions. ;)
The mood of a live record is very special! :)

DVD questions

Dear Friends!

Thanks for all great suggestions, interesting questions and kind words. We are overwhelmed by the interest in participating in the making of this DVD. I hope we can make your time worthwhile. Most of the DVD recording is done now and the cameramen went home. This concludes our thread. We did maybe half of the questions that were posted before the Hamburg show. I hope it will turn out nice. We will also try to include a slideshow with photos, making of the light show, backstage footage, interviews with me and Joakim on making of Skyshaper and more. We don't to promise too much, we will see! Hopefully we will release the DVD box before end of 2006.

Thanks again for all your support and care!

Yours,

Eskil
