Great interview! I love that you were able to answer some questions as well, I thought they were very accurate from a fans viewpoint.
The Road, Worlds Collide and Judge of my Domain are also my favorites, but I think I'd like to hear remixes of Judge of my Domain the most. I can't stop listening to that one. I'd also like to see a release of "Come" that had been played live recently xoxo
Very sad news but I suppose not surprising. Covenant has been going strong for so many years, but life still changes for everyone. Here's hoping he'll still visit once in a while.
Crunchy noise desires is the greatest description xoxo
Sometimes someone will upload them to youtube but I'm trying to hold out too and go for the delayed gratification. I like to have a physical cd in hand rather than mp3's. We'll see how long I last though. As for being blown away, I'm confident it will be great. But in response to the discussion on the German side of the forum (since I won't even begin to try to respond in German), I know that I almost always enjoy Covenant more after listening a few times. Even if I don't particularly like a son...
LOL I saw the tracklist for the album and it has Worlds Collide on it. If that track is half as good as the demo than it will well be worth the wait. xoxo
Apoptygma Berzerk - Spiritual Reality (I had forgotten how much I like their older stuff)
Has anyone seen the latest blog entry on Covenants Myspace page? Looks like a January 17th release date but February 8th for us poor souls in North America. xoxo
They played I Am? I'm so jealous, I'd love to see them play that live. That is a very good quality video. Thanks!
Thanks for posting this. Since I'm going to be in Montreal for at least another month or so, I was thinking of checking out Mutek. Now I have a place to start - I confess there are really only a handful of bands I recognize for this festival. It seems mostly techno. Cheers!
I had a similar experience to yours, Merci and I'm glad you had a great time too. We're all looking for connections in our lives, particularly to things that have become important to us. Music especially draws out those emotions. I think its more common than we think, and yes, most people are pretty realistic about it. xoxo
There's one for 20hz too at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lDmO5FuiB7I&feature=related It's nice to relive the memory - even though a youtube video can never capture the true energy of the show. xoxo
Kinetik totally kicked my ass, but in the good way. I think I'm still recovering. I had a great time and Covenant put on a stellar show as always. I just wish their set could have been longer. xoxo
This band is really starting to grow on me. There is a bit of similarity with some of those classic bands they've been compared to, but they are also really good at it. I agree, its refreshing. xoxo medusarocks
These photos are amazing. I really wish I had been able to catch one of the shows on this tour, but it was just too far to travel this time. Thanks! xoxo medusarocks
I know, that is such a long wait. Thank god for youtube xoxo medusarocks
The amazon.com and amazon.ca websites have been updated to show a September 7th/14th release date. It may just be a placeholder, but who knows. xoxo medusarocks
I hope noone minds me resurrecting this thread, but I have a quick question. If this has been discussed before, I apologise. I only have the metropolis 1 disc version, and on the liner notes is a photo of what looks like the tour bus window. But in the rear view mirror is a reflection of what looks like Eskil screaming while driving. I lol-ed, but then realized I'd be quite foolish if I was wrong I may be imagining things, so what do you all see when you see this picture? Regardless, it was nice...
Thanks Shadowbyte, the events feature looks pretty cool. It's a little lonely over there right now, but I'm sure someone will also be going - eventually.
