> Ultimately, better going home with a bit of fake blood everywhere than flour, vx gas > "phlegm", and mud like 2004. HA! So in 2004 I was front row center and got pelted with all of the above. I had fake blood, applesauce, and flour *everywhere*: all over my clothes, in my hair, etc. Anyway, i had not literally ate or drank anything in 6 hours so on the way home from the concert i was dying of thirst and decided to stop at a gas station for water. Mind you it was, like, two in the morning. So i...

The San Francisco show was out-fucking-standing. No spoilers from me, but i will say it was the second best (post-reunion) show i've seen them do in terms of song selection and Ogre's performance. Not to be missed by die-hard fans. --Sharon
This is a problem will all DNA webcasts, the vocals are always super loud and the bass/drums + any sort of ambient sounds (ie the audience) are usually really low. But i think it's still cool nonetheless. Glad you enjoyed the show; we did too.
In case anyone is interested, you can listen to a streaming webcast of last Saturday's Covenant show in San Francisco here. It'll be there for only the next 10 days so do it now or forever miss your chance. > You writing somewhere else these days? I don't really have time to write for magazines anymore. I do occasionally write stuff for various people when they ask nicely. And i have an *extremely* amateur TV show here in San Francisco: http://www.noisescapetv.com/ --Sharon
> "Kyron5." Do I recognize that name from the IndustrialnatioN days? Yes, you do. Although if they still owe you money, I have nothing to do with it ... they owe me money too!
It's listed on the Protain website and on the venue's MySpace page: http://www.protain.de/deutsch/tourdates.html http://www.myspace.com/theindustrynightclub --Sharon
My predominant hope is that "Get On" makes it onto the record. --Sharon
There are a few German speakers here so I thought I'd give this a shot. I need to know how to translate the term "on air" in German ... as in what text would be written on one of those illuminated signs you'd see in a radio station. Reference Image A friend of mine told me he thought it would be "Achtung! Aufnahme", but he wasn't sure. Does anybody here know? Thanks!
I actually have video of that. It'll be posted to noisescapetv.com in another week or so.
The Jams - It's Grim Up North
For my money, I'd go with WGT. You just can't beat the experience of it. It's literally an invasion on the city of Leipzig. 200+ bands, four days of music, parties, adventure, etc. I'm not remotely a goth, but i find the experience of it utterly mesmerizing. I went for the first time in 2003 thinking it would be my one middle European adventure ... and ended up going back year after year after year. It's pretty addictive. Plus, i like the fact that you have the option to either camp or stay in t...
There is an audio version of the Headhunter cover here: http://www.seecolinslash.com/audio/seeco…eon2-23-01).mp3
They are most famous for their "Headhunter" cover, but they also do "Eye Over You" (Haujobb), "Another World" (Beborn Beton), "Non Stop Violence" (Apop), and "Night Riders" (Stromkern).
This is my friend Eric's band, See Colin Slash. They are famous for doing acoustic covers of popular goth/industrial songs. http://nstv.fdiskc.com/scs/DeadStarsShort427H.mov For this one they decided to do a country/western theme. --Sharon
The day 4 artists are all hardcore/breakcore. Manu Le Malin is really awesome.
