Zitat von »UH417« Btw, what's the lineup? Eskil, Daniel, and...? Good question! I'll let you know when I see them tomorrow night in Boston.
You might already know this, but it looks official: http://www.thedise.com/rockclub/index.html Yay! DJ Chris Ewen is spinning too.
I was lucky enough to go to a local indie movie theater and watch the series finale on the big screen (Video input, of course, not via film projector.) The theater staff wrapped their concession stand snacks in DHARMA labels (really, just san serif, all caps fonts on white paper, haha), gave out leis, a compass, and a white or black stone, and served island punch. They even put the DHARMA INITIATIVE logo everywhere: http://www.flickr.com/photos/designfemme/4704497965/ http://www.flickr.com/photo...
glad to see a revitalized website! love the song teaser...looking forward to new material.
They sound wonderful! I've heard so much about APTBS via brainwashed dot com, but I never took the moment to listen to them.
okay, how come no one told me about this awesome cover of "Dead Stars"? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x5wf4c91Sy8
oh wow, that looks really cool. Looking forward to hearing more work from "Sleazy"!
Niggels, thanks for your thoughtful commentaries to my post! I totally forgot about those alternate versions of "The Men" and "Ritual Noise"...I love those versions, and I have been meaning to pick up the Septic VI compilation that contains that version of "The Men" (which also features a superior version of Mind.In.A.Box's "Lament for Lost Dreams" btw...but that's for a whole 'nother topic). Even if my hopes-and-dreams list isn't fulfilled, I have a feeling I will still be very surprised and de...
my hopes and dreams: 1) more lovely cd packaging like the last three releases 2) a song that's sweeping and epic like "The Men" 3) a song that's minimalist like "Consumer" 4) a tour date in my hometown 5) daniel myer adding his personal touch and kicking ass as usual 6) pancakes Pancakes have nothing to do with covenant. But they sound really good right now.
space invader decals? ya mean the bliks? http://www.whatisblik.com/iam8bit.html I think it would be great to have pixelman decals!
I do not speak German, but I think someone above mentioned the "pixel men" illustrations for a shirt design? I rather like this idea. Girlie/fitted sizes, too, please And stickers are always great!

That is a really fantastic way of looking at the song(s)! "Flux" is my absolute favorite song by them, and your tie-in with "Come" has now got me looking at in a new way. Zitat Originally posted by michelem31 When I first heard Flux, I had this very powerful mental image of this infinite universe struggling to outwit entropy, but its own gravity becomes too great and it pulls itself into a Big Crunch. And with Come, I had the total opposite: a new universe, born out of the 'ashes' of the old. Th...
Zitat Originally posted by phoenix70 JUST FOR FUN How about a combination/ mix.. of "Helicopter" and "Unseeing" a track from "Polarity"? That's GENIUS!
WOW. For a mere demo, it's quite a sophisticated piece! Love hearing the Myer influence too.

Zitat Originally posted by Joakim I'm proud to stand beside him on stage no matter what he wears but I appreciate the way he combines the suit with his own particular personality. damn fucking straight. Being a rabid fan of both Cov and Myer, I don't want to see Myer become a "Covenant clone." Nor do I wish to see him marginalized. To all fans out there, let's be open-minded (and patient) about this collaboration first before we start commenting on his onstage look. I am so ridiculously excited...
Zitat Originally posted by Marci My friend somehow managed to copy Synergy to DVD somehow. I do not understand much about computers, but he gave me the whole video for my birthday. Thank God for you computer people!! My husband did the same thing for me as a surprise. He took a bunch of VHS tapes that we owned and converted them all (including Synergy) at work. That's what I call a good gift!
Congrats to Mr. Nachmanson and Kudos to Mr. Myer
