Glad to hear that Clas is indeed doing well and... @ Clas - hope all goes smoothly with the birth of your first child!!! Congratulations!
I think all of us here in the states would love to hear what the new side project sounds like live!!
Zitat Originally posted by motormenace I heard of Covenant on a 21st Circuitry compilation (that I still have) with Luxt back in 96. I didn't really start to listen to them until my girlfriend got me to listen to them again and I heard "Pulse". Now that I've started to listen to them again after many, many years, I can't stop! Luxt is from my hometown Sacramento, CA - know them quite well actually!!! ps I changed one word to compilation... instead of the other word you used
hmmmm.... I may need someone to get ahold of the LE version for me as well!!! PM me with details of price!!! Guess I'll have to get the ex- to kick down with his region free dvd player for a while!!! In the meantime i'll always have the US version!
I am listening to a couple of my friends discuss their very strange dreams,,,
The band is finally legal to go to bars in America!!! Funny though, the guys have been going to bars for years!!! Congratulations!
The sound of my clothes in the dryer at my ex-boyfriends house... He does not own a decent stereo and so I am tuneless!!!
From what I've heard they actually may have worn garbage bags once or twice back in the day!!! Or at least tin foil!!!
She left me a comment last month... I will check on her...
The new CD has hardly left the player since I got my copy almost 2 weeks before it was released!!! Testament, Nemesis, Farthest Star and (the one that makes me cry) Carry You are all incredible... I will be at the 3 shows in California in June (Los Angeles, SF and Sacramento) - who will be there with me???
I survived my big 40... the bottle of tequila however, did not!!! Thank you all!!!
I may be weighing in kinda late on this... but in California we have a rather active goth/industrial/ebm scene... I know since I am one of the DJ's in the Northern California scene... we have a CD vendor that come out to the clubs around here who is from Europe (Americans - go to this website www.copint.com) and gets us the latest and greatest in the music from Europe - but we also have many exciting bands from the US as well - The Cruxshadows, Assemblage 23, Imperative Reaction, System Syn, Iri...
Knowledge is Power Power Corrupts Study Hard Be Evil - from the t-shirts at the Ego Likeness concert....
Thank you for addressing this and we will await your statement. In the meantime you all have our support!
Okay my player on my computer is all messed up, but what I heard sounded spinnable into one of my sets.... maybe it's a California thing - the sun screws up our gothiness???!!!
I have been a dreadful moderator as of late - many personal issues... will try to get back to being a the bright cheery american on here!! HAPY BIRTHDAY to all whose birthdays I have been missing and to the small Covenant fan - my daughter Matea - who turned 7 (OMG how did that happen??!!) last Sunday!
For me as a DJ - these are the ones I have been spinning the most 1. Infacted 3 Compilation 2. Covenant - Skyshaper and the related singles 3. Corvus Corax - Venus Vina Musica 4. Faun - Renaissance 5. Ego Likeness - Order of the Reptile Best find of 2006 - Abney Park!!!
I understand what seren is going through - having lost my best friend of 27 years in March 2000 - there are no words, no gestures, no comforting things that can take away the pain in this moment... mika touched so many people who never even got a chance to meet her... she will be missed by us all... but seren, please know that we are all here for you now... love and friendship always, seren!
I liked it, but I am big into all that middle eastern/celtic crap at the moment... fills the dance floor big around here...
As the person who handles the friend adds for colony 5 on myspace - hello!!! Glad to hear about your being part of their show!!! Hope it goes well!!
