Front Line Assembly in Chicago

Hello! I was at FLA lastt nite until 3AM!! I am dying at work. Anyway, my old friend Chris Peterson wanted to say "hello" to Covenant. He told me a few stories about Eskil, but I am not sure that I can post them. Of course, I do prefer seeing Covenant live. I was hoping that Eskil would appear to sing "The Storm." I can dream. Also, Rhys just had a baby boy weighing in at 11 pounds. His name is Rex.

Isn't it a pain in the ass that you can't just out and out delete posts? I feel your pain, believe me...

How was the show? Did the sound system hold up? :)

I wish I could have been there but I just started a new job and the timing didn't work out. Did the show sell out before showtime?

No, it was not crowded at all. The opening bands were dismal. FLA was pretty good. They had a lot of energy. The crowd was full of annoying people. Bill talked about Chicago and his "ghosts".

RE: Front Line Assembly in Chicago

Eeep, I hate to say it but I'm glad I didn't go. The portion of the crowd I was in at And One/VNV was so terrible that I would have little tolerance for another bad crowd so soon. I'm too short to be a real threat to rude drunks. :(

I have to say the crowd was not drunk at all, but there was no energy. I thought it was strange. Actually, I went for personal reasons. I haven't seen Chris for 16 years. It is a very long story involving a missing person report. 8o I was so happy that he remembered me. It was so nice!! I actually like him. That is surprisiing because I never seem to like anyone. I sound like the biggest groupie, but I am really not. He was so shocked that I was there, and he made me feel so special. Also, he said that he remembered every minute of that night. There was so much chemistry. Too bad he lives 3000 miles away!! :( FLA will be in Europe for one month, Australia, and Japan.
