Uiui! Langsam wird das festival interessant. Und da ich eh auf Heimaturlaub bin, werd ich wohl meinen Süßen und mein Schwesterherz einsacken und der Familienidylle entfliehen :)

I think I´ll be there. :)

Oh, Sorry Atma. When clicling from the latest post, you don´t really see that. And I was only referring to the first post here. But of course you are right.

I know that I have mentioned this before - but I need to express again how much I truly hate all you who live in Europe and get to go to all these cool festivals.... I am of course being sarcastic - I don't hate you... I am just completely jealous!

You can be jealous that when we actually DO get to see bands like Covenant, VNV Nation, etc. we see them in smaller clubs/venues and actually get right up close to the stage (and even sometimes have a drink with the band members before/after the show!) :P

Alas no - I don't fancy being disowned by my parents for bumping them for Covenant at Xmas

I am hoping to go to a few of the shows in Germany next year tho - any plans your end?

I would absolutely love to go to Germany for some shows next year. It will be difficult though as I am finishing a nightmarish degree and basically will be camping out in labs for the duration. Orkus is therefore an impossibility and I am *so*, so disappointed about that. Very disappointed.

This is a big reason why I am trying to figure out if it is feasible to go to Dark Storm/Dark Xmas... I don't know how available I will be next year for travelling so I want to do it when I can. Logistics, logistics! ?(

RE: Dark Storm 2006 Covenant Headliner in Chemnitz

I won't make it for anything this year, holiday commitments. I am looking into the March shows. Anyone been to the previous Orkus tours? What are they like?

Craziest thing I've even done yet for a show was drive seven hours to Houston to catch Mentallo, then drive (mostly drunk and mostly asleep) the seven hours back in time for class the next morning. (Ouch!) Spending a week in Germany would top that I think. :)

I´ve be on the first Orkus Tour. It´s a club tour. Somehow like a headliner with 3 (4) support bands. WhenI remember right, the last 2 bands had about the same time to perform. It was really nice.

Thanks for the nice review.

I like this sentence:
"Eskil’s voice was in good shape as always but I must note that he seemed to mix the lyrics more than usually." :D

Even if that wasn't their best performance I think I've missed something. *sigh*
All things considered, insanity is the only reasonable alternative.
