I’m sure this isn’t the correct place to post this – so mods please feel free to move it appropriately!!

Hi Everyone,
Did anyone who was at the Racine, St. Paul’s or Denver gigs on Friday, Saturday and last night, see mika [cyberdreamsgirl] there? She was travelling to these concerts alone but since leaving her friends in Detroit last Friday, no one has heard anything from her. She always keeps in touch with at least someone either by phone, sms, or email. But she hasn’t answered her phone since Friday. We know she was definitely travelling to these gigs but we don’t know if she actually made it to them.
I know we are probably becoming concerned over nothing, and she is probably fine. But she has travelled a lot over the years and she has always kept in contact with at least someone. I know she uses this forum a lot, and thought that maybe someone out there had seen her, or spoken to her at one of these gigs. If so can you just pms me here – thanks.

I hope she is ok. I emailed her through myspace last week and never heard back... and myspace says she hasnt been on since.

Maybe you can go to Covenant's mspace page and see if anyone has posted a comment about attending those concerts, and then contact those people directly. Also, check IR's myspace page... i know in their tour announcement blog entry, people were posting about attending the Denver show. It's a long shot... as I guess people might not have noticed her unless they talked to her or something.

Unfortunately, there are not many US users on this forum. And I was at 2 gigs looking for mika and never saw her (although I didnt know what she looked like then.)

Thanks for the feedback erichazann - I will try posting in myspace. I didn't realise she had an account there too - I haven't used it myself.

I hope that she is fine - she probably is - just getting a little concerned now, as it has been quite a few days. She is supposed to meet friends in Seattle for the gig there - so I will see if she arrives.

Me too! it actually sounds a bit scary. :( I know that *I* am always concerned pretty fast when I don't hear anything from someone close to me who's on a journey or simply a long car ride.

Do you have a picture of mika? Maybe I could send emails and ask the bands and crew members if they saw her...

best wishes

Thanks everyone for the good wishes. I am sure she is probably fine - she should be meeting her friends in Seattle today - I guess if she doesn't arrive there then we need to start taking this very seriously. But we are thinking positively still.
I have taken erichazann's advice and contacted some of the people who posted on the Covenant myspace site as being at the gigs, and I will see if any one gets back to me about her.

I will send you a foto - I just need to get someone in England to send me something recent. She looks very different in all the fotos I have of her.

Thanks again everyone for help, and good wishes - I am hoping they are not necessary, and that she will turn up in Seattle today.

RE: discount for the Racine, Wisconsin show

I was at the Chicago show, and it was amazing. I saw Eskil up close as I was walking down the stairs. I did not know who he was, but our eyes met. There is something about him. The look he gave me was just perfect. You know you touch someone and you feel a spark, he did that to me. When I saw him come out on to the stage, I was mystified. Thank you, Covenant!!!!

Hi Everyone,
I just thought some of you may like an update. mika [cyberdreamsgirl] did not arrive at her friends in Seattle today. As this is entirely out of character with her, we are now very, very worried about her. So, as her friends in Detroit last saw her, we have decided that they should now contact the police. They are also going to start checking Hospitals etc in all the States we think she may have travelled to.
I will let you know when we find her, because we will find her.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news guys!!! ;(

I'm sorry to hear that....

I forwarded your message and the picture of mika to the tourmanager and asked him to show the picture to the bands. I'll let you know if someone on the tour saw her..

Best wishes
Claudia

Here you go ;)

It may sound a bit odd now talking about the shows again and how great they were, so first of all I want to say sorry to hear about your friend. I really hope you find her soon and she is okay!

But as we are just back from the States and still very excited we thought we do a little posting here, describing how great it was over there.

We did a total trip of 12 days, in which we visited 3 COV shows (+1 Combichrist ). We have been to Washington, D.C., NYC and Chicago. Washington was quite okay, a great location and a good crowd (Thanks to Joe for the ride!) but as we were still a bit jetlagged we could not party too much. But we´ve boosted ourselves from show to show and indeed, it was worth it!

NYC got better for us already, even though the venue was a bit... hm, scary? The bouncing floors were definitely not my cup of tea. Even the bands did not feel alright, in fact the show was about to get canceled! I was told by the tourmanager that at time when the soundcheck should start, there was not even a stage set! And on top there were huge problems with the power, so everything just worked out last minute and was not perfect at all. COV complained about the sound and all bands were also pissed about the fact that the backstage area was filled with dozens of people with so called "VIP tickets" which allowed them to get backstage. So there was no place for the bands to dress or take a shower... Still, the concert was nice, even though I did not like the people too much. Everybody was pushing and pressing in front so I expected a huge dancing crowd, but in fact when the show started nobody really moved! And when we started to jump, we even got affronted by others that obviously wanted to see the show standing in silent. Man, you should come over to see a show in the eastern part of Germany and you would know what partying means

But there was still one more show to come, and this was Chicago! Yeah! This was really f***ing amazing! In fact, I have probably seen about 50 COV shows in my life and this was definitely one of the best! The bands were great (all 3 of them) and COV were definitely at their best! What can I say about it? I am missing words. But one for sure, this was worth all the time, stress and money! Eskils voice was better than ever, Clas had so much fun dancing (though he was falling twice on the wet floor ) and Joakim gave his best (like always) screaming at the crowd with his warp microphone. All in all, we had such a good time. And it even got better when Eskil started to sing the 2nd verse of "Like tears in rain" in German! After that he asked the crowd what they prefer, and they all voted for German, so he continued with "Der Leiermann" and took this as an opportunity to say "Hi" to the German fans (us ). he even came to the rand of the stage and shaked our hands The whole thing was finished by neverending 3 encores! After that, everybody was totally exhausted. As seen in one of the postings above, even the band described this gig as one of their best ever seen.

So, to keep a long story short, we would like to thank ROTERSAND and COVENANT for one of the best shows of our life and being part of their US tour! Guys, you are great! We see you soon.

Take care!
