Thank you Covenant for the awsome show in Melbourne! It was fantastic. The final encore where you played Figurehead was also a very nice surprise. Thank you all so much, MELBOURNE LOVES YOU!!!!

A wish-granting fairy

Hello all,

I'm new to this forum & stumbled across this thread. Here are some links to various photos from the Covenant Bullet Tour of Australia:

Sydney Gothic - this site will give you an insight into the Sydney dark alternative scene generally too. Just navigate through the Covenant pics:
http://www.sydneygothic.com/communities/photos/index.htm

Rocksluts - a Brisbane-based site. Enter the site, then click 'Bands' & Covenant...
http://www.rocksluts.net.au/

I'll post some more links later.

Overall, the tour went very well, with large crowds for our population size: 400/500 at each show. They played for about 1.5 - 2 hours each show, if I can find a setlist I'll post one later. Everyone was very impressed with the performances & production values, and with the way the guys conducted themselves - we're pretty laid back in Australia so they felt comfortable going along to a nightclubs & afterparties in both Perth & Melbourne too.

Although they were only out here for a week, I think Joakim, Eskil, Claus, Jurgen & Stephan all had a great time - it was important to us to treat them very well since they'd come such a long way :)

Hope that's all of some interest.

Danielle.

Thanks for the welcome

Hi Dani & Sandra,

No problem for the links, and thanks for making me feel so welcome.

Great job you're all doing with this forum - I haven't had a proper look around yet but what I've seen has been very impressive. Dani, your photos of Covenant from WGT & M'era Luna are also excellent - nice to see the boys looking so suave in their formal wear! :p

I seriously entertained the idea of flying over for M'era Luna as I've never been to a European goth/industrial festival but things just didn't work out in the end - lack of money, time & no-one willing to go with me. I think I'd freak out in such huge crowds too, but I really wish I had gone now looking at the photos :/
