I had the most amazing time last nite. My self esteem has not been the beast lately. I feel like a shell of a person. Anyway, my friend (the promoter) told me where Eskil was. I went to find him, and my heart stopped. I found the courage to come up to him while he was eating with the bandmates. I introduced myself, and got flustered. I saw him a little bit after, and he told me he thought I was brave. He is stunning, and very human. I kept running into him. And then they finally came on stage, and I was in front. It was perfection. I love the new songs and can't wait for Modern Ruin. Eskil kept looking at me (was it my low cut dress?). He sang to me. I loved every second.

You were not there. You should not talk about things that you do not know anything about. I was backstage at the last two concerts.

It is possible, we have different motivations behind posting.

I like music, very much so. Though due to my background in behavioral and brain science research, my tendency is to see a personal red flag when someone is posting about a specific attraction to someone online, like it means something. Doubly so for any band. Going out of one's way to do this and make it public instead of taking them on the merits of their music/words/fucking awesome live show seems fairly off to me.

I can see how suffering for the things you adore feels validating.

A very old practice, this is true.

Ultimately, it is what it is, regardless of what I think.

I have no illusions. I was only writing from my point of view. I will not take your attack too personally, as you must have nothing better to do that to analyze someone that you have never and will never meet.

And I think that's absolutely okay, M! Glad you had a great time!

Everyone should be able to speak free here at the forum as long as she/he does not hurt or offend anybody else!

Hope all is well with you and L!

Cheers,
Sandra

I had a similar experience to yours, Merci and I'm glad you had a great time too. We're all looking for connections in our lives, particularly to things that have become important to us. Music especially draws out those emotions.

I think its more common than we think, and yes, most people are pretty realistic about it.

Setlist

Hi there, any chance of getting a setlist for this show? I'm doing an article and I can't remember if they did Feedback or not. Thanks to all! ;)

I would love to read a setlist too! I'm curious if there any further new songs we probably haven't heard before.

I am pretty sure that they played three new songs. One is up on you tube under Covenant Change the Century at the Abbey Pub in Chicago. They played "Will you give me your soul" (I think), and the song about diamonds in it. Is it called "Dyanmo Clocks"? They did not play Feedback at the Chicago concert. I told Eskil that Feedback is my favorite sone, and he said that they were not playing it that night. My friend told me that they played in Michigan, but I got there too late.
