Lodz Festival

Having issues finding a hotel in Lodz. The flyer and hotel websites are a bit difficult to navigate. :mauer:

Any suggestions, recommendations, or "Oh We're Staying Here" kinds of things? I seem to remember someone mentioning that the hotels recommended may change, so I am not sure if the flyer is updated/valid.

Feel free to chime in, via PM, or here, or my email. Looking forward to visiting Europe again, but getting a bit stressed.

meeting up

Ok now that *that's* out of the way... thanks everyone for your wonderful advice and input regarding hotels and such! Not stressed now.

Is anyone meeting up somewhere before the show?

If not, if you happen to see a girl in black (of course) wandering by herself around Lodz and she looks a little too gleeful to be around snow for a change, come up and say hi... she probably will be friendly...

i just had a look around at google maps to prepare the trip,
maybe helpful for you, too:

in the east you have the end of the railroad track, that's central station

in the middle you have "Stanislawa Moniuszki" (horizontal), that's the street where the festival club is located

in the west you have (vertical) Piotrkowska Street, that seems to be the street of main interest and shopping in the city (thought it is drawn here very small)
