What do you think about the two albums "skyshaper" and "northern light" ?

Even though I like the "skyshaper" ltd. best, I have to say that the photos
you can find in the ""northern light"-Cover go better with the whole
"atmosphere" of this album.
The photos of "skyshaper" are quite nice, too, but often don´t fit with
the "musical content" of the album. - well : IMO

What do you think



Ein Thema das unbedingt mal behandelt werden muss:

1. Ich bin ja der Meinung, dass "skyshaper" ltd. das schickste Album
überhaupt ist.

2. Aber ich finde die Photos von "northern light" trotzdem am schönsten.

Was ich ja erst dachte : aha : da gibt es so viele Übereinstimmungen
bei den Landschaftsphotographien zwischen diesen beiden Alben :
hm, das muss ja ein und derselbe Photographeur gewesen sein :
aber : Fehlanzeige: - Skyshaper : Dirk Eusterbrock
- Northern Light : Anna from 1-2-3 (?)

Finde, dass die Bilder im Skyshaper-Booklet nicht so gut zu den Tracks passen,
wie bei Northern Light (das auch ein Konzeptalbum ist).
Die Stimmung von ganzen Album wird bei Northern Light auf genialste Weise von
den verschiedenen Photos eingefanen - bei Skyshaper weniger.

Meinungen? Anregungen? Kritik?

Well, al least some of the tracks of "skyshaper" don´t fit in :

"happy man", "ritual noise", "pulse" and "sweet and salty"

Personally, I see an album as one piece of art and that always includes the cover.

Das Cover/CD-Hülle gehört für mich immer zur bloßen Musik eines Albums dazu,
so dass das letztendlich ein "Gesamtkunstwerk" ist.
Und im Idealfall harmonieren Cover und Musik. Mal besser (Northern Light) und
ab und an auch mal weniger gelungen (Skyshaper).
