Thanks, well, for me the erie hi hat added something to the song so I let it stay. Joakim who did the loops wanted to remove it but I guess I was just more stubborn. Besides, a good drums sound is not easy to come up with and we didn't like any of the alternatives better. But I will make a remix of 20 Hz one day. Does anyone have an opinion about the PGR3 version? Also I have an idea to relase pulse as a single. We'll see! Today I am going to make a remix/extended version of an Skyshaper track for an Orcus compilation called "extended electronics" but I haven't deced yet which song. Why not a techno version of The world is growing loud? I like challanges, contradicting signals and complex layers - and a good old bass drum!

Yours, Eskil

I think, I quite agree with Joakim on this one. Actually, the good drums sound could have remained. I guess, just displacing it / synchronizing it a little would have done the job. In any case 20Hz is my personal No.1 from Skyshaper and this is it - I love it! The whole album is a great listening pleasure and this is not surprising to me at all. As to the remixes - you are The Men - really looking forward! :perfekt:

But, don't you think that this "chakachakachaka" would suck after 20 minutes? ;)

hi, thanks for your feedback. The hihat in 20 Hz was integrated in Joakims loop and could not be removed seperately. Besides, I like it. I leave for Stockholm tomorrow, have a nice weekend folks!
