There is a UK music store selling the single on ebay for around 19.50 including shipping (7.95 plus 3 UKP shipping). That's alot, but pretty straight forward since you can pay with paypal. If you can get them to remove the VAT, it's about 1.50 less.

Amazon has the US release for 6.98 ($1 more than industrial-music.com) available for preorder right now. Just ordered mine!

I tried to buy the mp3 version from the klicktrack store via the subspace communications website and it would not take any of my credit cards :\

Amazingly enough I called my local cool as hell record store (Dimple Records in Northern California) and they will have two copies arriving on Tuesday (release day) and my name is already going to be put on one of them... I am very lucky to live in a town in the US that actually has a record store that understands the need we have for this music to be readily available!!!! So now all I have to do is count the hours until Tuesday at 10 a.m. - luckily I just bought the Metropolis 2005 CD/DVD compilation to hold me over until then!

"Together we are what we can't be alone" - Dropkick Murphy's, a punk bank from Boston, Massachusetts, USA
"What doesn't kill us only makes us stronger" - Resilience, a hardcore punk band from Santa Rosa, California, USA
"As our ashes turn to dust, we shine like stars" - Gee, I wonder who said this

There is great record store in nyc called Generation Records. They will have the american release on tuesday also, but I figured it was better for me to order with an Amazon gift cert, pay no tax, and get free 2 day shipping and not have to go back to the actual store again and fight for copies.* (I checked this w/e for the import version and it was a no-go.) I always spend too much when I go in the store anyway!

*They usually get enough copies, but they have a really strange way of selling cds. All the cds are in a big filing cabinet behind the counter. The empty cases are put out on the selling floor, but only one copy/case is on the racks at any given time. Then you get the CD put in the case when you checkout. But if someone has just bought the same cd, and they havent restocked the shelves yet, you have to ask if they have it at all, and depending on how angsty they are, they can be unhelpful and sometimes nasty. The plus side of thie whole operation is that you get to see the insert booklet before buying since the cases aren't shrinkwrapped shut.

that is a truly odd way of selling the CD's... if I had a gift cert. to amazon I would do the same as you! I have already blown my CD budget for this month with my trip down to Southern California - they have a used record store right by my friends house called "Second Spin" and i got a Decoded Feedback CD, the Route 66 single by DM and this kick ass Madonna covers compilation that had a copyright date of 2006!!! Switchblade Symphony doing a creepy cover of Lucky Star... gotta love it! Then the Metropolis 2005 CD/DVD and now the Covenant Single... no more CD's for Niki until the rent is paid in Feb!

to whom it may concern, i've put my little own review on our belgian webzine Dark Entries:

http://www.darkentries.be/index.php?nav=cds&zoekID=300

but i guess not that much people here speak dutch, so here's a short summary:

'ritual noise' sounds like an euphoric and relieved mission statement of the band, an ode to music as an emotional en spiritual outlet. the track itself is simply an instant dancefloor-classic, covenant as we know it. but actually 'xrds' was the song that really swept me away...

conclusion: can't wait to hear the full album (stating the obvious a bit there)
i'm just an advertisement for a version of myself

My favorite Version of this song is the Version S!
That's also the one which is mostly played in our clubs around.
