Bliss is blissful, but more so in the original version. Felix didn't quite get it there.

I third this opinion and a good variety of dance scenes really respond to Fluke's hits. Anyone who has seen the movie Sin City may remember Fluke's Absurd playing during Nancy's dance. ;)

And they did the music that played in the Zion dance scene in The Matrix: Reloaded, which is called, well, Zion. :) They did a remix of it called Another Kind of Blues, which is on the Puppy album. (Or, they might have remixed Another Kind of Blues into the Zion song. I'm not really sure.)

Nice, I just check out the original Bliss on FineTune and I think I agree with you on this. :)

Oh wow! Worst. Matrix. Scene. Ever? They can live underground and hack into the Matrix but they can't make clothes that aren't transparent? But yes, another fun and dancy song.

There's no way I can stay on topic with this one- don't have any more Covenant songs I hate. Sorry mods! ;)

*I think I'm in the minority in that I never liked any of the Matrix films. The camerawork got on my nerves. That, and the storyline was kinda... patched together from other places that did it better, imo...

*re: Syntax/Fluke- not familiar with, am curious now. Listening to Fluke's Absurd via YouTube though, and I think I'm in loooooove... Atom Bomb was good, but I think I like this better!

*re: obligatory staying-on-topic mention: I'm with Lush- not sure how to keep this relevant...um, Humility isn't one of my favorites, maybe? I guess? ?(

There's no Covenant song I actually hate, but I don't like "Wall of Sound".
Somehow it's too happy for me. ;)

Mea Culpa. But it was too hard NOT to share the awesomeness that is Fluke to the rest of the world. :)

That is a very difficult question!!

But...."Happy Man" seems very boring to me

My favorite song..."Feedback"..just so haunting

To my mind it's the best track of that album... (and I wouldn't judge a song as "too happy" anyway, at best as "too undemanding")

Good lord. That Fluke video brings back memories of me and my hubby playing WIpeout for hours upon hours...

Oh, and yeah, I'm another one who hits "Skip" on the player whenever "Invisible and Silent" comes one. Sorry, but it ain't working for me. :sch:

Whenever I hear Atom Bomb I think of dancing at clubs in Kyoto. The DJs would all play this song and rarely a night passed without it and Underworld's Cowgirl sneaking into the playlists.

Looked through my playcounts (I love my iPod) and saw I've played Atlas even less than We Break Down the last few years, so there's my very close second. Yet Invisible & Silent is one of my favorites even though it is depressing and points out some the hardest parts of my life. Torture? Eeek?

You're not alone. My husband loves that song, too. No chance listening to it without hearing him squeak "ah, I like that song, it's so cute".

No, I wouldn't like to call any song "too undemanding".

I didn't mean to refer to Covenant songs.... I rather thought of DJ Ötzi and things like Maja-hi-maja-ha etc - don't say that isn't "incarnated modesty".

A trick question. The track I enjoy the least has got to be "Pulse", but it's not a bad track in any way. My favorite tracks are:
1. Dead Stars
2. One World One Sky
3. Bullet
4. Feedback
5. Theremin
6. Slowmotion
7. Like Tears In Rain
8. Tour De Force
9. Ritual Noise
10. Wall Of Sound

Eacg to their own I guess - cos I LOVED "Pulse" - especially the last couple of notes - so drawn out and so melancholy *sigh*

As for songs I don't like:
1 - Can we include that bloody Absynths track???????? - I've tried, truly I have, but ye Gods and little fishes I swear I develop ADHD after 3 minutes.
2 - Theremin - nothing wrong with the track at all - I just don't like it cos I find it impossible to dance to :sch:

The Absynth track is more of an experiment than a song actually. And personally Theremin is one of my top 10 favorite Covenant track.
