Covenant on youtube.com

www.youtube.com is a great source for videos of any kind, and I just found out that there's a youtube Covenant group as well:

http://www.youtube.com/group/covenant

Until now there's not too much we wouldn't know already ;) but still very nice and worth checking out!

And I found a very very cool alternate video to Dead Stars! It's "Invader Zim - Covenant-Dead Stars". Check it out:

There's some nice stuff on it! :)

Newish stuff:

A short clip from Covenant performing in the film Festival (2001)... which is apparently very bad.

A FF VII Anime Music Video (Bullet)

We Stand Alone St. Petersburg

A pro shot video from the DM Fanzelten 7.20.2002 (title says Live in Sweden, but the credit across the bottom that plays says otherwise). Call the Ships to Port

The Fanzelten 2002 was in Meltewitz/Germany ;)

I remember watching that one a while ago, but never asked the guy if that was all there was to that interview, since it seems to get cut off at the end.

Oh my God, the embarrassing things that pop up on the internet long after you thought they were buried in the sweet forgetfulness of time...

I don't even remember doing this, that's how drunk we must have been. It's probably at a festival where we innocently tried to enjoy ourselves and suddenly ended up doing a TV interview. The kind of thing you do once or twice until you learn that recorded interviews and beer (or vodka or whisky or...) is a baaad combination. I'm very glad that the interview is cut prematurely.

But the version of Stalker is pretty nice. Hm, perhaps it's time to re-check those old backtracks and dig out the old samplers from the closet.

Hey this version of stalker is incredible, I think this would be a nice add for the forthcoming dvd

Is there someone out there, who has this version in a better quality?

*Will refrain from commenting about the November 2006 release date ;)*

Oh how they tease us! All music on the audio channel. Makes me really curious about what's cracking them up so hard. And what Eskil thinks is worthy of rocking out to. :)

Glad to finally see this. Bought the Brave New World single when it came out in hopes it would have the trailer on it like the Europe version.

I did the same and was super disappointed, which never happened for me before on a Covenant release. :(

The trailer looks fun and well made. I can't complain about the wait because I prefer good editing for the main body of these types of videos and for the overly wacky and random stuff to be fun extras. Ah, the beauty of DVD.

Another loooong session of editing... getting closer to the edge. ;)

The "In Transit" DVD is now a road movie/documentary rather than a typical live DVD. We like that a lot more than your everyday, run-of-the-mill live show+goofy stuff+"oh look at the fans go crazy for their heroes at the merch booth"+more silly self indulgence.

Sure, we talk a lot about ourselves. But I really think that this film is about all of us. You guys, us, the people working with us to make it all happen in Berlin, Brooklyn, Mexico City, Lima, Novosibirsk, Buenos Aires, London...

Skyshaper has taken us almost 5 times around the globe by now, distance-wise. I never thought I'd do that in 18 months, even in my wildest dreams. Or nightmares.

It's been a ride, my friends. And it will be evident in this film. Drama, honesty, music, exotic places, swimming, dancing, thinking, drinking, intellectual pondering and homesickness... A whole lot of blinking lights. Shouts and beats. Silence. Joy and disaster. Oh, and some songs too. After all that's what we do, right?

Pretty much all of it. I'm sure you'll find it worth your time.

Joakim, that sounds just great... and different to usual live DVDs, right. I am very curious about the end result... :)
