Thanks for voting, folks. :)

For me it was an easier decision than with all the other albums as I'm not to keen on half of the album. Theremin is a bit problematic as I love the club version (and the live version!) but in my humble opinion the original version (that is, track 1 on the album) sucks. The speed of the bass drum just does *not* fit to the rest of the song, it seems that its pace is twice as high as the rest of the song. Makes it a bit unbearable for me. There are one or two other songs on DOAC which sufer from the same problem.

After all I did *not* vote for Theremin. My votes go to Wasteland, Replicant and Shipwreck (with Shelter and Hardware Requiem coming close to '3). :)

Hi Niggels

THEREMIN......sucks?

NO NO NO!!!!!

Theremin ist der Grund warum ich mir 1996 alles von Covenant gekauft habe was ich bekommen konnte.
Sorry ,I now this is the english site and I should write in english.
I beg your pardon and I'll never do it again.

As I said, I love the club version. I just don't like the original version because of this damned speeded-up bass drum.

Three favourites? Ahahahahaaaaa, good joke ... No, I can't vote for just three favourites ?( Sequencer was hard, but Cryotank is impossible for me. Seriously.

i'v voted for 'cryotank expansion', 'wasteland' and 'voices' (for the optocoded-version on the theremin-ep) ... a pity i couldn't vote for 'shelter', 'void' and 'speed' though...

btw: still haven't decided what to vote in the sequencer-poll ?(

funny, that's the reason why i like the album-version more than the club-version...

Each to his own, Hilarius. :) We all love Covenant's music for different reasons and different things about it.

definitely :) , btw i didn't mean my remark as any criticism on your opinion. it was thanks to your post i figured out why i always liked the ablum-version of theremin better... i knew it was something with the drums, but i didn't realize what actually... i'm very oblivious when it comes to that side of music ;)

I didn't understand it as criticism of my opinion, so don't worry. :)

It's a *discussion* board after all. ;)
